About the Author

B. Patrick Young is an architect, writer, and artist. During his architectural studies, he was a nominee for the prestigious Rome Prize. His short stories have been published in literary journals in the United States, Canada and Australia. He is a first-prize winner of the Fiddlehead’s international fiction competition, and a runner-up in Glimmer Train’s short story contest. Some of his stories are available on this website.

Favourite books include Martin Chuzzlewit, Nightmare Abbey, Alice in Wonderland, Amerika, Nostromo, Moby Dick and of course The Worm Ouroboros. B. Patrick Young’s next work, inspired by Nostromo and Anna and the King of Siam, is a novel about an American architect who in 1963 visits a fictional South American Country, where he is scandalized by the local sexual customs.
