B. Patrick Young is an architect, writer, and artist. During his architectural studies, he was nominated for the prestigious Rome Prize in architecture. His short stories have been published in literary journals throughout the English-speaking world. He is a first-prize winner of the Fiddlehead’s international fiction competition, and a runner-up in Glimmer Train’s short story contest. Some of his stories are available on this website.

Patrick Young’s next work, inspired by Nostromo and Anna and the King of Siam, is a novel about an American architect who in 1963 visits a fictional South American Country, where he is scandalized by the local sexual customs.
